One-Pot Lasagna Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 9 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- Chopped fresh basil for garnish

In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat if needed.
Add diced onion and minced garlic to the pot. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
Pour in crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce. Stir in dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Break the lasagna noodles into pieces and add them to the pot. Stir to combine.
Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let the mixture simmer for about 20 minutes or until the noodles are tender.
Stir in shredded mozzarella cheese and dollops of ricotta cheese. Continue cooking until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with chopped fresh basil before serving.
