One Pot Lasagna Chef Gabriella Rossi

One-Pot Lasagna Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 9 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • Chopped fresh basil for garnish

Procedure:

  1. Brown Ground Beef:
  2. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat if needed.

  3. Sauté Onion and Garlic:
  4. Add diced onion and minced garlic to the pot. Sauté until the onion is translucent.

  5. Add Tomatoes and Sauce:
  6. Pour in crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce. Stir in dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  7. Break Noodles:
  8. Break the lasagna noodles into pieces and add them to the pot. Stir to combine.

  9. Simmer:
  10. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let the mixture simmer for about 20 minutes or until the noodles are tender.

  11. Add Cheese:
  12. Stir in shredded mozzarella cheese and dollops of ricotta cheese. Continue cooking until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  13. Garnish:
  14. Garnish with chopped fresh basil before serving.

  15. Serve:
  16. Serve the One-Pot Lasagna hot. Enjoy your easy and delicious meal!
