Chicken Pesto Pasta

Chicken Pesto Pasta Recipe
Ingredients:
- 250g pasta (your choice)
- 1 cup basil leaves
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/3 cup pine nuts
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
- Cherry tomatoes for garnish
Procedure:

- Combine Pasta and Pesto:

- Garnish:
- Serve:
Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a food processor, combine basil leaves, Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, and garlic. Pulse until finely chopped. With the processor running, slowly add the olive oil until the mixture forms a smooth sauce. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
In a large bowl, toss the cooked pasta with the pesto sauce until well coated.
Fold in the shredded cooked chicken to the pasta and pesto mixture.
Garnish with cherry tomatoes for a burst of freshness.
Serve the Chicken Pesto Pasta warm. Optionally, sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese on top.
